Two Second update

The conference was great - a lot of work and little sleep, but truly enjoyable and a great learning experience. Saying goodbye to project was sad, the memories, the friendships and the lessons learned this summer will definitely stick with me for a long time.

The family made it to Colorado safely, and managed to surprise me for my 21st birthday by flying AJ out to Colorado to meet us. He was here Friday through today (Monday). We went white water rafting, driving / hiking around Rocky Mountain National Park, to a brewery tasting and around Fort Collins, as well as just hanging at the campsite.

Its been a great trip thus far, from today on it is just the fam (AJ had to go back home to work :-( ... ). Plans to go hiking some more, horseback riding and renting boats on horsetooth.

Hopefully a more complete update some time in the future.
